James E. Passmore Sr.Was born November 4, 1949 in Elmira, the son of the late Wilton Elwood and Jane Doris (Mellor) Passmore, passed away very unexpectedly on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age of 65. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Carole S. (Law); beloved children: James E. Passmore Jr., Gregory E. Passmore Sr., Kathleen Gilbert and Andrew J. Passmore Sr.; adored grandchildren: Gregory E. Passmore Jr., Anthony R. Passmore; Terrence G. Passmore; Andrew J. Passmore Jr. and Jordan; sisters: Janet and Beverly; along with many cousins and friends. Jim retired from Hardinge Inc. as inspector after 33 years of dedicated service. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY to celebrate Jim's life and honor his memory on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM.
