Jane E. Cleveland

Jane Margaret (Ely) Cleveland, formerly of Breesport and residing at Bethany Manor in Horseheads, passed away on December 29, 2014. She was born November 4, 1916, in Mansfield, PA, only child of Fred and Stella (Allen) Ely. She was a graduate of Mansfield State Teachers College (now Mansfield University). She worked for many years in the Transportation Department of the Horseheads Central School District. Originally a member of St James Episcopal Church in Mansfield, she was more recently a member of Breesport United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and traveling. She was married to Donald John Cleveland, who preceded her in death. She is survived by sons Donald Alan ("Al") Cleveland of Breesport; Douglas William Cleveland, of Shelby Township, MI; and Roger Ely Cleveland, of Myrtle Beach, SC; as well as grandchildren Rebecca Franklin-Guild, Rhea Gerdes, William Cleveland, Amanda Cleveland, Melissa Cleveland, and Joshua Cleveland; and great-grandchildren Adrian Gilchrist, Kennedy Whittington, and Eli Cleveland.
