Joan Crater

Age 73, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Friday May 7, 2010 at Robert Packer Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Franklin H. Crater, Sr.; children, Frank (Diane) Crater, Chuck (Mary Anne Giuliano) VanHorn, Mike VanHorn, Richard VanHorn, Joan D. (Ahmad J. Wallace) Crater, James D. Crater, Shawn R. A. (Machelle) Crater, and Chris E. (Holly A.) Crater;Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Carl VanHorn; sister in-law, Helen VanHorn; also several nieces and nephews.Joan was a former employee of the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, camping, her animals and her church, Central Assemble of God in Horseheads, NY.Family and Friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with Funeral Service there Wednesday at 11:00 AM followed by graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira.
