Age 69, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA after a brave fight against cancer. She was born December 16, 1940 in Elmira, NY the daughter of Elizabeth (Baccile) Dandrea and the late Anthony Dandrea. Growing up in the "showbiz" environment, Mary Ann enjoyed the many musical shows that she and her family were part of. Upon graduating from Southside High School, she move to Sayre, PA and raised her family. She was a past member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church and a current member of St. Peter and Paul's Church in Elmira. Mary Ann loved spending time with her children and grandchildren whom she adored. She will be remembered for her wonderful giving ways and unselfishness to many. She had a very kind heart and this was known to all that knew her. She is survived by her son, Patrick "Mickey" Farrell and his wife Donielle of Athens, PA; Teresa Farrell of Endicott, NY; Elizabeth "Beth" Coddington and her husband, Sean of Conklin, NY; grandmother of Kathie Elmore and her husband Steve of Chesapeake, VA; Eric, Donny and Chole Farrell of Athens, PA; Dillon Farrell of Endicott, NY; Seanny, Sarah and Kyle Coddington of Conklin, NY; special great grandchildren, Zachary and Alan Michael of Chesapeake, VA; sisters, Betty Jane (Jay) Baines of Cypers, TX; Joan Canova (Greg) of Chenango Bridge, NY; Margaret Rose Carey of Southside, NY; brothers, Tony Dandrea (Ida) of Southside, NY; Michael and Thomas Dandrea of Elmira, NY; along with several nieces and nephews. Mary Ann is also survived by her best friend whom she enjoyed spending many times with, Sandy Shaffer of Elmira, NY. She was preceded in death by her loving companion, Carmen Ball in 2007 and brother, Nicholas Dandrea. In accordance to Mary Ann's wishes there will be no prior calling hours or services.
