Mary Keltz

Age 98, was born March 31, 1916 the daughter of the late James and Goldie (Hedgeland) Keltz passed away peacefullyon Wednesday, November 17, 2014 at the Steuben Center in Bath, NY. Her lifelong friend, Pauline "Mike" Sawdey; brothers, Albert (Josephine) Keltz, Elmwood "Dutch" (Hazel)Keltz, Harold "Pete" (Marge) Keltz, Charles Keltz Sr.; nephew, Lynn Keltz preceded her in death. She is survived by her nieces, Goldie Khork of Avoca, NY; Mary Lou Young of Bath, NY; Gloria Whitley of Rochester, NY; nephews, James Keltz of Milton, PA; Albert Keltz of Rochester, NY; Dale Keltz of Canton, PA; Larry Keltz of Bartlett, TN; Charles Keltz of Avoca, NY; Mike Sawdey of Millport, NY; sister-in-law, Barbara Keltz of Bath, NY; along with several great nieces and great nephews. For 20 + years, Mary worked for American Dry Cleaners and then 20 + years with Diamond Dry Cleaners. She was a faithful member of the Christ United Methodist Church and was an avid New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan. Mary was admired and loved by all of her many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services for her on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at the convenience of her family in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to CareFirst Hospice or the Christ United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
