RobertF. Wheeler Sr.Age 85, of Elmira, NY passed away on July 26, 2013 at Chemung County Nursing Facility. He is survived by his son, Robert “Bud” (Jackie) Wheeler, and their daughter Sarah; daughter, Pat (Bob) Lambert, and their children, son Kyle, his Fiancée Danielle Page, daughter, Allison (Justin) Baer, Betsy Lambert. 3 great grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his wife Joyce V. Wheeler, siblings, Harold Wheeler, Scott Wheeler, Fred Wheeler, Mary MacBlane, and Irene Kendall. Life member of the Masonic Lodge of Canton, PA. United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. Retired Elementary School Principal from the Elmira City School District. Avid Football fan of the Canton Warriors and he enjoyed Bowling.It was Roberts request that there be no calling hours and a Private Funeral Service be held at the convenience of the family.
