Cady, Shirley Mannion Born May 21, 1938 in Canton, PA, the daughter of the late Gerald and Bessie (Bolt) Walburn, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Robert Packer Hospital. She was predeceased by her husbands, Kenneth P. Watts, Richard L. Mannion, and Arthur S. Cady; brother, Harold E. Walburn; sister, Elsie M. Punchard; brother-in-law, Raymond Cady; and daughter, Deborah A. Galpin. Shirley is survived by her children, Richard J. (Bambi) Watts, Gerald J. (Joann) Watts, Kenneth P. (Barb) Mannion, all of Elmira; sister-in-law, Barbara Cady; brother-in-law, Herbert Punchard; son-in-law, Neil J. Galpin; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and last but not least, her special companion for many years, Abby Lynn Cady. Shirley was the former owner of Alpine Junction Truck Stop as well as a tool and dye maker at Mega Tool. She was an avid bowler and camper. She loved her spot at Bonin Lake in Orwell, PA for well over 30 years. She also liked to go to the Bloomsburg Fair to camp and play bingo. As of late, she enjoyed going to Tioga Downs to eat and spend a little time with Lady Luck.
