Theresa L. Fargo The last of 11 siblings, she was born March 12, 1928 in Elmira, the daughter of the late Peter and Maria (Cantando) Palmieri. Theresa passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Crystal, who has cared for her mother the last month, on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the age of 87, with her family at her side. Her loving husband of 66 years, Albert H. Fargo; daughters, Colleen Fargo and Christine (Tina) Brown; granddaughter, Theresa Makovitch Bonarski preceded her in death. She is survived by her beloved children: Cynthia (Bob) Harvey Sr., Corinne (Ed) Makovitch, Crystal Wickham and Al Fargo Jr. all of Elmira, NY; son-in-law, Larry Brown;8 grandchildren: Tanya (Bob) Harvey Jr., Jerillee (Randy) Harvey, Kim Blampied, Amy (Jeff) Limoncelli, Mike (Karin) Fargo, Kristy Long and Niki (Matt) Nosic; 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly; and several nieces and nephews. For over 30 years, Theresa owned and operated Fargo's Beauty Shop retiring in 1986, and was the co-owner of Rybak's Bar and Grill. She loved vacationing with her family, playing cards and enjoyed going to Casino's. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held there on Thursday, July 2nd at 10:00 AM. Deacon Joe Erway will officiate. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery Holiday, PA where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Albert.
