Adrienne Barrows

Licensed Funeral Director and Location Manager

Adrienne is a native of Baton Rouge, LA, and is a 2005 graduate of Louisiana State University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a concentration in Religious Studies.

In 2015, she felt her calling and returned to school to pursue funeral service. She is a 2017 Chancellor’s Honors graduate from Delgado Community College in New Orleans, LA where she graduated summa cum laude with an Associate in Applied Science in Funeral Service Education. She dedicated her early career to working with independent, family-owned funeral homes, and served at a number of prestigious firms in both Louisiana, as well as in southern coastal Maine.

In addition to the duties of a funeral director and embalmer, she enjoys leading various community workshops, programs, and special events centered on death acceptance, consumer education, and community responses to grief and loss. This professional experience, coupled with her natural servant leadership style, made her a perfect fit to help lead the Olthof team to better serve our community.

She and her husband Brandon have happily settled in Southport, joined by their college-age daughter Amelia "Rhea" Zetty, Adrienne’s mother Brenda Boyd, and their cadre of pets.

Our Support Staff

Though not licensed, these staff members are dedicated to assisting our directors to better help the families we serve.
